Lottie Lurvey was a well love educator at Cushing Park School. She taught for 47 years starting her teaching career in 1925 and retiring in 1972. The Delafield City Council proclaimed “ Lottie Lurvey Day” May 18, 1972. Ms. Lurvey created and maintained scrapbooks on the Delafield area events, Waukesha County events and family events. The collection consists of 8 scrapbooks which are drawn primarily from newspapers but also contain memorabilia covering the years 1946 through 1985. These scrapbooks were found in June 2026 and generously donated by family member Jane Lurvey.
